Set in the same world as Ruled, This book is a stand-alone but for full reading pleasure and back story I would recommend you read Ruled first.
Featuring a band of 4 ( wonderfully/humanly flawed and individual) retired Mauleon war veterans and one feisty half mauleon/half human girl thief, set up by her uncle to collect a relic that will prolong the war between humans and Mauleons.
This book checked all my book loving buttons. It’s original, engrossing and oh so freaking ( emphasis on the freaky 😈) smexcy! What’s better than one Mauleon book boyfriend?…FOUR!! Yup she did it.. a reverse harem/poly, scifi/bdsm set on a dystopian war riddled world.
Filled with flashes of Cari’s fantastic humour! Throw in a spear reference or two, a cute mouse bot and a load of snarky/verbal sparring and you have found one brilliant read and an exceptionally happy bookpimp.
