This is the much much anticipated finale of the Veredian Series by Regine Abel.

To enjoy this series to its fullest and to ensure you know what is going on…because this is a thick juicy steak of a series that is filled to the brim with plot….and this book is no different…you must read the other books in the series!!

From the moment I started reading this series I loved it. Filled with masses and masses of world building that continued to develop and expand as the series grew, evolving and creating new worlds and real to life characters that individually stole my heart ( Ghan me baby! ) and my head. Making this one of my all time favourite sci fi reads ever!!

So it was with a somewhat heavy heart that I read that this was the final book in the series. I honestly didn’t know how it was going to end but I put my trust and faith in the wonderful author and found myself falling in love with this series all over again.

Picking up a few years after book 4, I was transported back, revisiting old friends and watching them battle again.. this time not only for their freedom, their friends and their families but for their children.

It was bloodthirsty, emotionally heart wrenching and filled with asskicking warrior women and their wonderful men.

The main focus in this book being the fantastic Kamala and her intended mate Xevius. Their conflict was a wonderful dance of pleasure and pain and their chemistry was scorching🔥🔥

This was ( like the others in the series) an emotional read and my eyes did fill up on a number of occasions….not just over the joy of reading about my wonderful book husband ( he’s had a promotion 🤣🤣🤣 ) Gahn, along with many other beloved characters from the other books.

Putting it mildly…I adored this book…it’s a shining example of what a fantastic sci fi romance read should be, and a truly wonderful way to finish this series.
