Winged Passion: Heaven’s Heart Series #3 by Amanda Pillar

Once an angel, now a blood slave.

Seraphina would do anything to protect her fellow Darts—even become a blood slave. But can an angel survive living in the depths of Hell, surrounded by demonic killers?

Trick’s entire life is a lie, which is exactly how he likes it. Ruler of the Halcyon Guild, he is one of the most powerful demons in Hell. But for the first time in centuries, he’s been outwitted—and by a damned angel.

His bad luck doesn’t end there. Hades has a mission for the guild: one only Trick and Seraphina can complete. The catch— they have to complete it within a week or their lives will be forfeit.

Can Seraphina and Trick set aside centuries of prejudice and work together, or will their pride see them both destroyed?

Review by Bubbles The Book Pimp

This is a the third fantastic instalment in the Heaven’s Heart Series… if you have not read the previous two books

Deadly Passion: Heaven’s Heart #1

Benevolent Passion: Heaven’s Heart #2

Then not only are you missing out on the first two fantastic instalments but bucketloads of kick ass story, brilliant world crafting, character building and a whole lot of romantic and smexcy good times!!

You could red this book as standalone… BUT.. why would you!! 😈😈

The focus on this book is the secretive Trick, leader of the Halcyon Guild, finding himself down a angelic blood slave he agrees to have Seraphina, a fallen angel and fellow ‘dart’ to take over Z’s contract. His life is all about keeping the guild running and maintaining control over his guild…. and stopping them from eating each other’s pets! 🤣🤣

For Seraphina, finding out that demonic guild life is not what she expected, that demons aren’t what she expected and after being set a deadly task by the god of the underworld, tracking down a mythological artefact and stealthily liberating it from its owner that Trick is not what she expected either. As the two race against time they are drawn closer and closer together.

When we met Trick in book 1, I hoped he would have a book of his own… I was drawn to his character and knew there was more to him than meets the eye…and I’m happy to say he is paired up brilliantly with Seraphina… they are true opposites but they are brilliant together.

Their banter, chemistry and interactions were perfectly created. Having suffered somewhat similar histories and being made to feel ‘less’ by people who are meant to love them, allowed them common ground. Both our leading lady and leading man are witty, clever and controlled. But also filled compassion and sacrifice for others… which are fundamental themes that run through this book.

This series grows in strength to strength, I have loved every book in this series and this book is no different. I dove in and did not put it down! This book and it’s wonderful wordsmith of an author, checked all my book pimping great read boxes 🙌🏻💯💯💯

Angels, demons, witches and gods… whatever your craving for flavour wise in paranormal romance… this series has you covered.
