Book 5 in The Kracken Series. This is Kronus’ story, following the battle that almost cost the previous books characters their lives…Kronus finds himself living amongst the humans and Kracken of The Watch.

despite having a home, and second chance with his fellow Kracken ( and their mates ) kronus still finds himself feeling adrift…where others have found peace… he is left feeling destined for none…until he sees Eva. Saving her allows him to save himself and gives him purpose.. and so much more..
This story doesn’t have the action and conflict that were common in the other books, but I think it’s my favourite.
It’s a story about healing of the mind and body and second chances received and given. Ultimately about inner strength and the need and desire to go on regardless of obstacles that appear in your way…. and it was beautifully done.
The world building that continues to develop and grow within this series blows my book pimping brain. The characters may be make believe but they are created with emotion and passion that is so real… despite being a fantasy book… their challenges and struggles are very realistic.
I adore this series and cannot wait to read the next instalment.
