Eternal Fire: The Guardian Series #4 by S.Lawrence

A Destiny. A God. A Death.
What if Loki is just a victim of bad PR? What if we’ve got him all wrong?
Loki has battled an evil within himself for a millennia. Playing his role as Trickster, he has been alone. Now, he must defeat Odin or our world is lost.
Cora, seer and French Quarter fortune teller has dreamed of him all her life. Now, after being thrust into the war for our world, she finds love and her destiny.
Together they can chose each other or the world, either one will lead to heartache.
What would you do to save the one you love?
Not everything in mythology is just a story.
Not every fairy-tale is harmless.
Magic is very, very real… And so are the monsters.

Review by Bubbles The Book Pimp
Final installment in this series.
The line has been drawn in the dirt… two sides going to war… Both sides have picked their champions…already tested by their life circumstances.. and the most unlikely hero continues to be tested… will he sacrifice himself to protect the world? And the woman he loves?
They all have someone to loose, the guardians, earths champions are strong.. but this is their final test. Will mankind survive the battle for the heavens?
Anyone who is a lover of mythology and fantasy needs to read this series. If you have not read this wonderful coming together of blended myths and legends with a ‘relevant now’ spin then..THIS SERIES…. is a MUST read!
Without giving away any spoilers… this is the final stand…good and evil will meet in the final battle. All our wonderful hero’s and heroines from the earlier books come together for a show down of epic proportions!!
These are tales that are epic, angst filled and emotive, each one is wholly original and filled with such fantastic worldbuilding… and this one was no less….Cora and Loki had me hooked from the moment I met them..( in Norse Fire ) and this is their story.. and so so so much more.
I had my heart in my throat on more than one occasion and was left reaching for tissues time and time again, my heart literally broke on more than one occasion.
I’ve been a champion of this series and this author since day one… I have lived, breathed and loved these stories and their characters from the moment I read the first in series.
I am so sad this series has ended… but WHAT an ending!! I am excited to see what the future holds for this author and look forward to more wonderful works by her 🖤🖤🙌🏻🙌🏻
