A NORDIC KING
Blurb
When I first applied for the job I thought it would be like all the others: working as a nanny for an aristocratic family.
Then I got the job and found out how wrong I was.
Now Iām the new nanny for two adorable little girls who happen to be princesses.
Their father is the widowed King of Denmark.
And my new home? The royal palace in Copenhagen.
Adjusting to my new life isn’t easy but the hardest part hasnāt been the girls who still grieve over the loss of their mother.
Itās their father.
Cold, mysterious and moody, with an icy stare that seems to penetrate your soul, King Aksel may have hired me to take care of his daughters but he wants as little to do with me as possible.
Yet the longer I share these palace walls with this man, the more that Iām drawn to him. His chiseled face and sexual swagger are only part of the package. Itās in the long, intense glances at the dinner table, the way weāll brush up against each other in the halls, the rare glimpses of the man deep inside, like the sun passing through clouds.
But no matter how I feel about him, we can never be together.
You think it’s bad enough being in love with your boss?
Try falling in love with a king.
“I’ve waited forty years for my heart to have a home. I’ve waited for you.”

Review by Bubbles The Book Pimp
A story of a widowed king, his two young daughters and an Australian nanny, who the king doesnāt want to employ….because with just the one look at Aurora, Askel knows she is trouble.
Aurora makes him feel..and for someone who feels nothing…except loss and pain and neglect… thatās dangerous, she makes him feel alive and hopeful.
A story that rings with old school romance and fairytales, whist shadowed in secrets and half truths.
This book captured me from the start. Filled with wonderful tender moments between Aurora and the princesses šÆāāļø And Aurora and Askel…despite his frosty exterior he truly was a man that wore his heart on his sleeve. I loved that this was his second chance at happiness story. That the focus was on his emotions and they were so raw and honest.
There were some brilliant crafted moments that left me smiling and laughing and equally a bit teary..Kudos to the author for seemingly effortlessly crafting such honest feeling emotions between characters. I loved the dynamic between Aurora and Askel… and enjoyed every step of their developing relationship. The chemistry between them was wonderfully crafted and their fire burned HAWT! š„š„š„
Using an fairytale plot… the low born girl meets her king charming.. in modern times, this book was a breathe of fresh air and an absolute joy and pleasure to read.
Disney have got nothing on this HEA! ššš
