The biggest story of her life is the one he wants to hide.
I’m homeless by choice.
I have no intention of returning to my former life after what I’ve done.
This—living among the filth and discarded remnants of others—is what I deserve.
As atonement for my sins, I give back; I help those who cannot help themselves. But it’s always under the guise of anonymity.
Newspaper headlines throughout the city are clamoring to discover my identity. Including the beautiful woman who manages to see through my “armor.”
She has the capability to put my entire life at risk.

Review by Bubbles the Book Pimp
Jude is alone, homeless and strives to put others before himself….he wants and needs nothing in return…Whatever it takes to purge his soul of the darkness and sins that lead him to run away from his life so many years earlier.
so when he finds himself at a local church run shelter he cannot help but focus on the people around him.
Jude and his good deeds haven’t gone unnoticed by the local paper, story’s sell and it it’s Faith job to track down the mysterious Good Samaritan….she just doesn’t expect to be in such a dangerous position when he comes to her aid.
This story was a total page turner, from the opening page to the end I was hooked. A totally unique and original story. A story of letting go of the past, of forgiveness and learning to live with yourself.
Jude was so dark and mysterious, a total enigma holding his secrets close to his chest. I loved that despite his secretiveness and obvious pain he put others needs before his own. A real life hero right on earth.
I truly felt for Faith too, her situation was and is one I know and have experienced myself…without spilling any spoilers…I loved how real her character felt to me and how their connection blossomed and developed into more.
Filled with tragedy, loss and some bittersweet moments this book was a breathe of fresh aid and a wonderful story.
