Following the harrowing news of her grandfathers passing, Jules is focused on helping her grandmother, she has no plans other than keeping Her heart securely under lock and key…despite her best intentions, seeing her ex with their daughter is too much and slowly she realises she’s exactly back where she needs to be.
First read by this author and a stand-alone second chance romance…. which isn’t a trope I normally read but im really glad I did.
The story is all about Jesse and Jules. Working through the mistakes of the past, letting go of old hurts and moving forward for a brighter future that they both deserved…albeit Jules was scared to claim. In my eyes Jesse more than made amends for his teenage douchbaggery. 🤣🤣 Their chemistry was sweet and spicy and ticked all my romance genre boxes 💯💯💯
This was a really sweet and fun read. I loved watching Jesse connect with his daughter…. there were some truly beautifully tender and real moments that brought a tear or two to my eye.
A page turner in its truest form I couldn’t put this book down.
