Sophie and Doug, share friends in common, who are a couple…Hart and Bryson. After a disastrous almost hook up at their wedding.. they remain circling each other attracted.

Sophie knows and appreciates Doug is attractive but only when he doesn’t speak… Doug knows and appreciates that Sophie is beautiful and knows that eventually he ‘will get his woman’.

At first I didn’t know what to make of Doug…but by hell I did like his honesty. There was something so simple and endearing about him that I couldn’t help but like him. I loved how easily distracted he was and his ‘huh’ moments… where his mouth engaged before his brain… they were true masterpieces and rom com gold!

Sophie is fantastic and sarcastic and fiery and soft and vulnerable. A wonderful heroine who needed to realise what she had in front of her if she just let those walls down.

This book brought me so many random laughs, there were a number of scenes that really made me so so happy.. I can honestly say that I enjoyed this book from the start. As always I’m not going to go into details because I’m not one for spoiling others reading pleasure and by god there is lots in this book. It’s funny and sweet and filled with love… such a wonderfully enjoyable book and a great way to spend some time in its pages.
